ARTIST'S STATEMENT
As an artist, I find my most compelling inspiration in the honest beauty of the animal kingdom, especially horses. I am overwhelmed by the grace and spirit of God’s most magnificent creation.
Through the lens of abstract realism, my aim is to translate the captivating essence of nature’s creatures onto canvas. Using acrylic paint enhanced with resin, I immerse myself fully in the vibrant dialog between color, texture, and form. The eyes are my focal point; they serve as a gateway to the spirit, inviting viewers to connect on a deeper level.
In my creative process, I intentionally extract the figure from its vibrant, often chaotic background, leaving certain details deliberately ambiguous. This approach encourages the viewer to engage with the artwork, filling in the spaces with their own interpretations and emotions. I believe that art is a dialogue, one that allows us to explore our perceptions and imaginations.
