I did this original using "Ellie", my stepdaughter's bloodhound. A pose of perfection with that remarkable nose still in operation, I'm sure.

I've never known a bloodhound before. It was so much fun to paint! Bloodhounds are known for their incredible sense of smell. So the nose is the focal point, of course!
