So, after a couple of years making these macrame wall hangings, my hands are really suffering. To give them a break, I've started using this new, soft, unstructured cord. And I'm liking it!
In order to give the hanging bulk and dimension, I added layers upon layers. The look is different than my other designs: a softer, more romantic feel with a definite Boho vibe. One of our bamboo rods that I've been saving for the perfect piece made the perfect rod. It has a lot of interesting bulges and rings. The hanging doesn't have a name yet - I give all my hangings names and I'm taking suggestions. If you review my other macrame pieces, you'll notice there's a theme to the names. Here's the good news: See if you can come up with an idea that fits and leave it in the comments below. If I choose your name, you win one of these Boho tapestries! Like, share, and save to Pinterest. And visit my Etsy store and "heart" this new addition to my macrame gallery.
